Milo & Me

I’m dedicating this whole Page to my love… Milo, a Maltese who suffers from an identity crisis and thinks that he is actually a Jack Russell and thus behaves exactly so.

I had wanted a dog so much 10 years ago and because of certain circumstances, I was not allowed to buy one. And so trusting the Universe, I began visualizing every night about the UnUsual circumstances a dog would come into my life!

And hey…… just only about 1 month of intensive visualization or some of you would know, working with the Law of Vibration & Attraction, indeed my dream doggie appeared into my life when a colleague who could not handle a new baby & a young puppy at once, decided to let me adopt Milo!!

Before you get into a frenzy of how my colleague could be so inhumane to a dog, you need to understand Milo isn’t exactly an ordinary dog. If you had watched Marley & me, you would surely understand. Milo REALLY believes with every fibre of his being that he is this super stud who can do EVERY dog & bitch out there in the dog park!!! And even when he’s home, he still thinks he is participating in a 100 metre sprint only about 2hours in a roll!

You leave him alone in the house for 1/2 a day, you’ll come back to find your favorite pot of plants totally devoured by him! Or a whole packet of milk powder blessedly showered onto his white fur, with God knows how much of it swallowed into his stomach. Or gleefully attacked a plastic box of durians in the dustbin, only to let me return & smell the pungent aroma several floors down from my apartment & discover with utter shock that Milo is NO WHERE to be found except for thick paste of durian leftovers on EVERY carpet & rug in the house….. not to mention the many days thereafter of durian-looking SH*T after his potty time. 

But oh….. how much I ADORE him! and still dreams about him now….

 

Here’s sharing some of Milo’s more angelic moments..beware, he’s awfully deceiving!

Milo when he’s sleeping on the sofa….. see how angelic he seems.

Milo who thinks he is KING of the House and sits on his throne a.k.a. my coffee table.

This shot is POSSIBLE only because he is waiting for a piece of snack from my hand, else sitting on command is beneath the STUD of the house.

The STUD of the House who 100% believes the entire 2-seater sofa is his other throne, after the coffee table. Don’t you dare shoo him away when he is happily seated on his throne.

Milo, the Stud also knows that once in a while, he can stick his head out of the window grill to dog-whistle at possible lady doggie passersby.

The Stud also wouldn’t mind messing up if there can be a romp in the bed while playing Hide ‘n’ Seek!

If you are wondering why Milo’s shots are mostly when he is sleeping….that’s because that’s the ONLY time he doesn’t move.

Milo is now happily married to Cherry & has 4 happy puppies.

Milo will always be the first dog & first love in my life… I LOVE YOU Milo…..
